David Beckham is golden – literally!
The former soccer star was honored at the first-ever Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards on Thursday with the Legend Award and he also got covered in heaps and heaps of golden slime!
David brought his sons -- Romeo Beckham, 11, and Cruz Beckham, 9, onstage to accept the award where along with their famous dad, they were slimed from head-to-toe in golden goop.

Before getting splattered, Access Hollywood's Liz Hernandez caught up with the athlete on the red carpet.
"I brought my boys with me. I'm not getting slimed on my own!" he said with a laugh.
David told Access he was honored to receive the Legend Award.
"It means a lot because obviously I've come to the end of my career as a soccer player, a 22-year-old career, and at the end of your career, it's so always nice to still receive an award," he told Liz. "Especially when it's from kids. You know when kids vote for you, kids are very honest, I know that having four myself."
As for David's kids, they think their dad, who is 39, is amazing and also getting up there in the years.
"One of them said super old. So you know, that made me laugh today. But I'd like to think that they think I'm pretty amazing," he added.
